August 2014 Swap

The day started wet and cold.  Raindrops fell on me as I picked a few chillies and scooped used coffee grounds into bags.  My fingers were freezing.

But soon, the rain stopped and there was a hint of sunlight.  It turned out to be quite a pleasant winter’s morning even though it was a really cold August day (the next 2 mornings were colder – complete with ice!).

While we warmed up with hot drinks and Anzac biscuits (thanks to Jan and Carol), we shared about organic slug and snail control (Organic Control of Slugs and Snails).  And we swapped clothings and books in addition to our usual home produce.  We had a lot of fun so we will continue the ‘extras’.
