It was lovely to see that our gardens were still productive even as the cold is setting in.
We had a second 2nd birthday for Mooroolbark because Claire could make it after all. So this is the real 2nd birthday 🙂 If this is a pattern, we will have to have 3 celebrations next year! Anyway, our ‘photographer’
It was a colourful autumn swap. We’ve even got homemade bread rolls in 2 different colours – globe artichoke and capsicum. Thanks, Bill! We’ve also got an interesting Asian veggie that is termed ‘Pearl Vege’ in Chinese. I was told

We had a great start to 2018! You’ve gotta love the permaculture swap – a pack of incontinence bed pads was on offer, which was quickly divvied out to use in plant pots for moisture retention 🙂 Come and join

The highlight will have to be the giant pepino. They are normally egg to tennis ball size but this one is almost football size! Ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit but I can’t think of anything between those 2 sizes.
