September 2017 Swap @ Bayswater North

It was windy with a few showers but we were welcomed with sunshine at the end!  We had Bronwyn, Queensland Fruit Fly Regional Coordinator for the Yarra Valley, come and tell us about the threat of Queensland Fruit Flies and how to prevent them.  For more info, please check out this article which also has Bronwyn’s contact details, if you need assistance or would like to volunteer to be an early detection trap host.

On a lighter note, here’s what we shared and swapped.  We thoroughly enjoyed Bill’s radish wholewheat rolls – they were freshly baked and warm, just what we needed 🙂
