January 2017 Swap @ Bayswater North

It was a warm and sunny morning and what a lot to swap to get us going in the garden this new year.  Normally by this time of the year, we would have too many blood plums.  Sadly, this year, our plums have been badly affected by brown rot.  The plums were fewer and larger, which makes the losses more pronounced.  I will have to prune the trees much harder this year to make it more open.  And hopefully next season, we’ll have lots to share!
