Permaculture at Hallston farm

What a great day we had!  Thank you, Jill and Gary, for giving us the opportunity to practise permaculture on your farm!  Thank you to all who attended for making this happen!

We learned and practised fruit tree and berries pruning.  The chainsaw gang worked hard.  We picked apples, blackberries, pears, quinces and peaches.  The blackberries didn’t make it to the next day.  We have plenty of apples for the next swap.  We shared a delicious lunch together while we laid out more plans for after.  Gary took the boys for a drive around the farm and others went cow manure collecting.  Lots of stories were shared as we sat and chatted after the day’s work.

We look forward to having many more such events in future.  Whose farm is next?
