November 2014 Swap

What  a great gathering we had!  The weather was really kind to us; there was even sunshine to enjoy.  It was buzzing with activity and we were spoilt for choice.

There are many photos so I’ll break it into 2 posts with a 2nd post on our wreath making.

Have a look at what we swapped.  There was peppermint, yarrow, lemon balm, rocket, leeks, goji berry, fig, watsonia, tomato, lemons, spring onion, mint jelly, chicken eggs, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, limes, broad beans, coriander, painted mountain corn, edible chrysanthemum, carrots, perennial basil, potatoes, mulberries, bread, lettuce, rhubarb, silverbeet, magazines and more!

  1. Reblogged this on Ground to Ground and commented:
A great local community food swap making a difference out in Croydon. This group has been supporting Ground to Ground for many years, and incidentally is an area that can grow just about anything in that lovely grey loam with just a little return of organic material into the soil.
