This is for those who eat meat..I believe the other parts of the animal should not go to waste! Liver is very nutritious but often disliked especially by children. However I found that my kids will eat liver pate happily. As pate is not on our shopping list that often, due to reasons of cost and undesirable ingredients (preservatives), we decided to try making our own.
We adapted from this recipe we found online. We substituted port for brandy as that was what we had on hand. And it turned out, it was quite easy to make and tasted great with extra herbs from our garden.
So if you’re a fan of liver or would like to get some of that good stuff into your kids, why not try making some liver pate? My kid enjoyed making and eating it 🙂
