Bamboo lashing and hot composting

As the cooler months approach, and the garden (and us) becomes dormant, it’s time to get active!

For the May swap, we will have a demo of bamboo lashing using old shoelaces.  This will be useful in the garden when you want to make a trellis, tripod, etc.

In June, we will learn about hot composting that could perhaps use up the leaves that have fallen from our deciduous trees?  Or you just want to produce some compost quickly in the cold months when cold composting slows down.

Stay tuned for more these coming cooler months…

  1. Are you regularly running the markets on the first week of the month? I’d love to help promote them for you but I’ve been unsure as to when they were on.
