Recently I found this Mulch & Compost document in my downloads folder. I couldn’t remember downloading it but about the same time it appeared, I was searching for information on using chamomile as mulch. Anyway, I thought it was very useful, especially since a few days later when I decided to harvest my compost, I found it smelly. I’ve never experienced that before and I attributed it to the recent rain.
I’m sharing the document here and will give credit to the source when I discover where it came from. Meanwhile, my garden is benefiting from the compost, smelly or not!
