Tussie Mussie

We don’t only swap garden produce…I learnt a new term at the last swap…tussie-mussie.  Just in case it’s also new to you, it is a posy or a small flower bouquet.  Actually, it is only new to me but the term originated in the 19th century during the reign of Queen Victoria (according to Wikipedia).

So now that we know a little bit more about tussle-mussies, we are going to learn how to make them!  At the coming swap, Ros has kindly volunteered to show us how to make these pretty and fragrant gifts.  We would appreciate if people can bring small flowers and/or herbs from their garden and any ribbon scraps that are suitable to make the bouquets.  See you there!
