August 2013 Swap

This update is 1 week overdue but I have a very good excuse…spring is here and I’ve been out in the garden most of the time!

It was a quiet swap with a few interesting items, including a ‘tussie mussie’ (flower posy) from Ros (see last picture).  If you would like to learn how to make one of these, please come along to the next swap as Ros will show us how.  Bring along any small flowers from your garden.  Will post more details closer to the date.

At the swap, we had cardamon, gotu kola, chamomile, fruit slice, grapefruit, goji, black elderberry, beetroot, worm juice, cumquat marmalade, lemon, jars for jam, lime, rosemary, coriander, spring onion and coffee grounds.  We also had a small discussion about starting a food forest in Croydon using hugelkultur.
